Free indicative roadmap for shabby chic home office furniture

Ordered this chair after shopping for chairs in local retail office stores. I was unhappy with the chairs they displayed (quality & support), and the pricing. Took a gamble in ordering it site unseen and chair “un sat”, but this really is a GREAT chair. It was also shipped super fast and very easily assembled. Chair is comfortable, doesn’t over tip easily, and a comfortable fit at 5′7″. Very happy with this product and the ordering experience.
What color to paint my Music Room?
I have a room in my house that is used as a home office and music room. I am wanting to redecorate and am thinking about the shabby chic home office furniture shabby chic style. I can't decide what color to paint the walls. I am leaning towards sage green, pale pink or pale aqua. I am wanting to buy a white desk and accessories. I want to promote an atmosphere of calm and confidence. Additionally, I hope to resell my house within the next year. So, any suggestions?

Looks great! Does not feel cheap. Fits perfectly in a corner of my one bedroom apartment.

I have to agree with reviews below – the holes to attach the shelfs do not line up at all and you have to drill your own holes, and it does not stand level. But, it was less than $60, so I can’t really complain. I didn’t experience ay defects with the paint and wood though

I ordered two of them. Both were damaged in shipping (UPS), but I was able to repair them okay. Also, as others have mentioned, the starter holes for the shelf supports were not aligned correctly. I just set the supports where they should be to insure the shelf is level. Assembly took about 15 minutes each.
They were absolutely fine given the price I paid for them.

I was looking for a smaller size Shelf Unit that wouldn’t take up a lot of space, both for width and height, but would hold a decent amount of items. It was better than I had hoped for and I will be buying another one.

Maybe I didn’t read the description correctly or maybe it just wasn’t listed, but when this bookcase arrived – it was MUCH smaller and narrower than I had envisioned.
That said, I was very impressed with the quality of it and the way it folds neatly when not in use.
If you’re looking to use this for actual storage of books and documents (about 80 hardcover books)- keep looking, but if you’re looking for something decorative to display decorative little things and photo albums (about 8 albums per shelf) – this is perfect.

For this price, you would hope the chair would tilt back, but it doesn’t. It was, however, the easiest chair I’ve ever assembled. The back and the seat snapped together. The arms were already attached, and there were no screws to deal with.

I am 6′ tall male.
The chair looks nice but I feel uncomfortable that the size of chair back is smaller than I think.
If you want big and comfortable chair as tall as I, you should find another one.
If not, this chait may be good for you.

Didn’t likie it didn’t seem to fit right. did not realize that you could not rock i it. Sold it for $67.00 less than I paid fo it

The chair was what I expected to get based on the reviews i.e., a good price/performance and a comfortable chair. You can not adjust the chair that much, but it will probable make it last longer. So far, so good.

These bookcases were a pain to assemble. One of the horizontal pieces was drilled wrong (one end was reversed)so I had to drill it out, one was missing dowels and it’s definately a 4 hand project.
Also, when assembled they are fairly flimsy. I decided against stacking them because I was afraid they would collapse and hurt someone.
I wouldn’t buy them again.

The woods are finger-jointed and do show through the stain, but overall it is a well made and solid station. The finger-joints do not seem to detract overall as it blends in well with other dark wood furniture.

The engineer who designed the wood part of this cart really knew what he/she was doing. That’s why I am reluctantly giving this three stars. The unhappy surprises began, however, when I opened the box (which was held closed by a very amateur taping job). (1) THERE WERE NO INSTRUCTIONS! (2) Because of the excellent design, however, I was able to figure it all out, but I advise you to stay alert, especially to the proper positioning of the back panel behind the keyboard drawer. Unless you were one of the fortunate few to receive an instruction sheet, you will note that the panel can easily be put on upside down, making the securing of the center support impossible. (3) Also watch out for the allen wrench they supply for putting in the heavy-duty screws; it is made of softer steel than the screws and so, on the very last screw, the wrench gave out with about a quarter of an inch to go. Fortunately, I had a wrench the right size of my own. (4) The brass (or whatever) drawer handle looks like an afterthought. (5) The magnets that are supposed to hold the keyboard drawer closed don’t work very well, but then, I can’t remember any such magnets working well on anything–just bump the drawer slightly and it falls open, even after several attempts at making adjustments. (6) Watch out for the little steel pegs that are supplied for holding up the center shelf. They fit loosely and could easily get lost, and they did not supply extras. (7) The wood finish was bummed in several places. I used touch-up markers but… well, you know how tacky that is. (8) The final insult was the overall height of the unit. The top surface sits 32″ above the floor. I suspect that the unit was originally designed for smaller casters, and when the caster size was increased, no compensation was made for the height.
So why didn’t I return it? I’m retired and must walk with a walker. Now how’m I gonna do that?

This cart is attractive and easily assembled. I like that it is all hard wood. It rolls easily on the wheels. If you have an ergonomic keyboard with a curve to it it will not fit in the drawer.

It looks good, it is real wood, it went together really easy, the first instructions in a very long time that have been easy to follow, it solves the space problem, it looks good. The shelf could be a bit more stable. It I mention it looks good?

I bought this cabinet after searching in stores and online for weeks. It was somewhat time consuming to put it together, I recommend someone whose very handy. Once put together, it was beautiful and looked great in living room! Components were a bit of a challenge to set-up, given the tight space I put the piece and numerous cords through small circles in the back. All in all, I am extremely happy with the finish product!! For this price and free shipping, you can’t beat it.

I bought this to replace a cheap audio stand and I am so pleased with this. It looks so nice and expensive and the wood matches all my furniture. My husband was really suprised when he went to put it together to find out that it was actually real wood. It was a little difficult to put together, I wouldnt have been able to do it myself, but I am really happy with this purchase. It made it even better to get free shipping through Amazon.com. Another great experience with Amazon.
Well after having this and using it for 6 months the drawer came apart and wasnt able to be fixed. We called and ordered the replacement parts but they never showed up. My husband had to repair it himself with alternative methods. So it looks nice but the drawer is not GREAT, very cheap design.

It’s a beautiful, but the instructions are not clear and it was difficult to assemble. You will need at least 2 people to hold pieces because it’s heavy.
